Bleu Star's personal & public reaction: "That's bull%@@".
You're right. The hypothetical incident would be just that, but...
Bleu Star's personal & public reaction: "Fine him and suspend him".
You're not the commissioner, a future owner/GM or head coach. If the incident were to occur, they may levy fines and/or suspensions, but those would be
punishments. I was searching for an answer which coincided with your earlier replies to Jimmy40 and myself, which were:
"I'll always defend a Cowboy. (past, present, and future) If there's anyone woh happens to dislike it feel free to mock away. " and
"That's where the past, present, and future came in."
You made a blank statement without exceptions or exclusions. However, you did augment your previous comments in the future. More on that later.
Not yet.
Really now?
Are you sure that's what you
said? Or is it what you
meant to say, but did not and now wish to claim to have done so after the fact?
Really? a "lie", you say? A 'lie' is something that is created which, in reality, never occurred. So, your assertion is that there was not any spitting involved.
Let's review some of Owens' statements following Hall's allegations of the spitting incident that "never happened":
"I got frustrated, and I apologize for that. It was a situation where he kept bugging me and getting in my face." -
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9875673 , [comments made immediately following the December 16th game]
"I didn't intentionally spit in his face. He's trying to make it seem like more than what it was by saying I hauled off and spit in his face. I feel like if I spit in his face … somebody would've seen it." -
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/cowboys/2006-12-18-terrell-owens_x.htm , [comments made
two days later, on December 18th].
Ouestions.
Could you provide a link to Hall's statements that he made up the whole thing? I don't believe that his acceptance of Owens' apology (which Owens practically denies in his comments following his apology) can be considered a refutation of his claim. Perhaps I'm wrong. Link away.
Has the league reversed or lowered it's $35,000 fine it levied onto Owens for Hall's lie? Link?
Is a lie really a lie if no one outside of those indicted by the lie can prove that it didn't happen? Owens believes so; and apparently, so do you.
Really?
"Proven", you say?
prove verb 1. to establish the truth or genuineness of, as by evidence or argument: to prove one's claim. -

Linky of "proof", please.
Well, Owens was embarrassing Hall. That's not questionable. Whether
he (e.g.
Deangelo Hall) 'stretched the truth' and it has been 'proven' that he did stretch the truth is. Something I'm certain that you'll be able to
prove.
Linky?
Really, now?
"Happy?" Yes, thank you for asking. However, am I as
blissful as the average Owens fan? Honestly, I can't make that claim.
darn.
