Jerry Jones: Owens Knew His Plays

What direct evidence? Jerry's statement??

"If Jerry said it, it's got to be true!"

Jerry's the most biased source there is. If anybody has an incentive to lie, it's him. He's the guy who brought this clown to Dallas, and he has to clean up the mess. This is little more that team-sponsored propaganda via Spags, Jerry's paid mouthpiece. How gullible do you think we are? On second thought, don't answer that. I'm terrified of the answer.

Yawn

Wow, you're truly nuts. This wasn't Spags trumpeting some "propaganda"; it was buried at the end of his article about a backup nose tackle. And by the way, it's as direct as evidence can get. You can't pry open his brain and find out if he actually knew the playbook. If you can take rumors as truth, I can take Jerry's direct, unequivocal statements at such. I don't see how he has an incentive to openly lie about anything here. He didn't come out and take a stance on the overdose incident. He didn't come out and take a stance on the hamstring imbroglio. Nor did he come out and take a stance on a myriad other things TO. He just happened to read the reports that TO didn't know the playbook and thought it was so untrue it was funny.

Exactly. If they're quoting something actually said by a player or coach then there might be some relevance to it. Generalization when writing is nothing more than the driving of a lame agenda. Those articles posted last week about Terrell not knowing his plays were simply drummed up by a mediot with an opinion and an agenda. Terrell was quoted as denying not knowing his plays and it still wasn't enough to satisfy the haters.

BTW, "subtle" Bleu is defaming JJT, who's only a zillion times the talent, reporter and man than his accuser.

And what's your agenda, Bleu? Shilling for Jerry and TO 24/7? You'd pour acid down your ear before you uttered a discouraging word about either of those two. And is it possible for you to post without tacking on six or seven lame emoticons like a ten-year-old girl? You're 37 for God's sake. Start acting like it.

It's not "evidence"; it's an assertion. And considering the source, you should be ashamed of peddling it as the truth.

Testimony is evidence.
