Just by interviews, I could tell Gregory was a pretty bright guy...but one who had issues. Didn't know he had the highest SAT.
Gets in the way disproven statistic that potheads are dumb I guess...

Jerry's salesmanship is in full display once again. It's that time of year.

It's 'show me' time for Randy Gregory. I remember this same sales job after last year's draft and we all know how that turned out.

Now it's time for the young man to work at it each and every day and decide what he wants for his life, football or weed. Because he can't have both.

Sure you can have both. Just not at the same time.

Focus on your football. Maximize your potential. Do the best you can. Make lots of money. Hopefully win the Super Bowl.

When your career is over, move to Colorado and smoke your brains out.

He had issues with cocaine/crack, not marijuana. Cocaine (crack esp) is MUCH more addictive than marijuana.

The detail you provided is like pointing out he was actually fired on a Thursday when I said it was a Tuesday. It doesn't make any difference to the point I was making.

Oh, great. Substance abuse, suspension and now "demons." It just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? Why are we so lucky to get these sterling players?

They both have had to battle the demon, drugs.

If you think marijuana use trumps being diagnosed as bipolar, I can't debate with you. He has much worse problems than marijuana usage as a likely coping mechanism up to this point and hope him the best in his fight.

.. and when you say "trump", I get politically triggered. Please refrain. J/K

I think you understand that I meant that he can't have both at the same time. Once his career is I we, he can obviously do as he pleases.

But if he can't control himself, he'll never have to worry about ever having a career.
