I would never root for a cad who was linked to a driver by murder.
But you do.
Is this what we have become? Enablers to low-level thugs who swagger into a club, then leave and get into a fight and then fire away as they run like cowards?
Is this now part of our Cowboy lore? Sure, lower the bar, and soon we are the Raiders or worse.
You ga'head and root for this posse leader from Louisiana who orders his homie to shoot then snitches and runs for cover.
Pray at the altar of celebrity violence.

I get it. He's in the vehicle that committed a drive by murder, and you're questioning his character. Totally understandable. But what would you have us do? Hope he sucks? Hope he gives up big play after big play? He's on the Cowboys. There's probably not a lot of altar boys on the Cowboys.

A lot of this stuff might come out in the trial.

Right you are, right you are, govnor.
Intriguing as follow:

1. Who ordered or brought up the idea of shooting?
2. Who in the group spends like a well-paid athlete and thus calls the, um, shots?
3. What angered the Fatman Boss YKDV so much that night?
4. Did Fatman Boss pay anything to his 2 associates after the killing? In the days leading up to the police contact?
5. Did Fatman Boss support the two scalawags, provide living expenses, provide college funds for the accused, thus in a Batman Boss/employee relationship??
6. Whose weapon?
7. Who is the most handsome among the three?
8. Why wait 1 month? That is one month of withholding information.
9. Will the defendants' families and pals attend the trial, and will adequate time be given to evacuate women and children and valuables?
10. How much state's evidence will Bossman Fat turn? Will he be known as Boss Snitch?

Blimey! The things I write!
Mum would be impressed.

Kelvin Joseph gave up a total of minus 2 receiving yards in his 1st NFL start...
Hey I really do hope KJ rises up this year and shows us he was worth being a second round pick. His rookie stats don’t show him as having that good a rookie year. Here are the numbers:
  • Two starts- one against WFT and one against Philly.
  • Missed 6 games recovering from injury.
  • Played in 10 games, mostly on STs.
  • He had 164 defensive snaps in 5 games.
  • Was a healthy inactive vs KC in week 11.
  • Had 2 passes defended for the season.
  • Did not play a single defensive snap in the playoff loss to the 49ers.
We all hope he’s much better this year. If I take the fan glasses off, I don’t see that he showed much last year. Hoping this year he does.

Me beef is that Bossman Fat YKDV is not such great an athlete that we shall lower the ethics bar.
Don't tarnish the star with this type of marginal talent who could be suspended.
There are far better young men out there with equal or better skills who don't do drive-bys.
Carry on good chaps all.

Yeah, we don’t know any of that… like you said, either way.

We can assume the police investigators do though and they decided no charges should be put on Joseph… so that implies that he didn’t do much of what you wonder about.
yeah, but keep in mind KJ works for the richest man in the area, a billionaire, and he is a cowboy.
Those 2 things can easily work in his favor .

He's pious though.

I just no-reply and let him rant. It makes hims feel better.

It should be interesting to see what the two in custody say when they find out Bossman is snitching. Basically sealing their fate. Criminals will turn on eachother in a heartbeat. So if nothing comes of it, you know the only thing Bossman snitch is guilty of is association. Still a really bad look.

My post was somewhat in jest. I have no problem with your opinion on the matter. I really don't have a good argument against.

And most of us are bias. If we tell this situation to most people they are shocked he's still on the Cowboys roster. A lot of teams probably cut him just based on the fact he was a party to it.

I know he has the physical talent to be a good CB, I question the mental toughness and desire. Only thing standing in Joseph way is Joseph himself.

After reading all of Jerry's comments the bottom line is, Jerry said he thinks Joseph is having a good camp. Jerry's comments were more about Joseph cleaning up his off the field image more than his football play.

As for his potential suspension, how does Watson's 6 game suspension for as many as 60 sexual assaults effect the potential suspension of Joseph who it could be argued was in the wrong place at the wrong time?
