Just as 3 SB in 4 seasons is pretty meaningless today. Dallas went 8-8 3 years and they continued to stay the course and continue to build which is what got us to 12-4.

if we discount a few bad teams, sure. Lets just leave out some facts and go with it.

everyone drafts not everyone hits on their draft picks. Jerry has taken the heat when those picks were not panning out why should he and the rest of the organization be credited when they do pan out?

because theres 0 evidence any of these have panned out, they have NOT played 1 single down in the NFL. thats is why. unless you are still holding out hope that Dunbar is this special RB no one else saw.

leaving out facts? Jerry has been ripped on for a good while and he deserved it. He is GM the team was failing. Are we to know say no matter what Dallas does Jerry should be mocked? Sorry I believe in giving credit when they do

for draftng, did anyone else do that? or just us?

For all executive decisions that led to a tremendous turn-around of a franchise mired in mediocrity. It has nothing to do with previous years or projections, but the decisions the GM made for that year. Keeping Garrett. Making Marinelli DC. The draft. Free agency.

No one is calling Jerry the best GM in the league or the best ever, what he and our front office did to turn this franchise around deserved kudos and credit though. You post reeks of agenda and bias. Get over it.

you can believe it, ill do it when the evidence warrants it. we might disagree but i dont care how you determine your success, it just disagrees with mine.

This years draft class does have much to prove however recent drafts and FA pickup has put Dallas in the position they are today.

His ability to close La'el Collins should win him the award off the bat.

Now all he needs to do is trade for AP.

Jerry is knocking it out of the park. And he is only going to pick up momentum going forward. Guys are already begging to come to Dallas. It is once again a destination FA's will dream of being.

Unless AP comes for a 3rd round pick and will restructure his contract to 6 million per year, he can stay where he is.

That is fine you don't have to credit Jerry for nothing that is your choice.

exactly!! there were many here, even me for a few minutes, who were ready to just stop watching football altogether after that 3rd 8-8 season, but you look deeper and you can see they were building something. Just needed patience to see it.

Are you telling me AP isn't worth the 32nd pick in the draft?
Please...

by teh big contributions of SPencer and Lee? oh wait , ok by the drafting of Romo, wait no, ummm, oh right by drafting Linehan, wait hes a coach who stopped the HC from abadnonding the run and once we started sticking to it with a RB that most of the league and teh so called experts wrote off, oh wait did that plan work too? possibly not since it was all teh grand drafting we did, like guys like Selvie and Sterling Moore, and the big contributions from Carr, oh wait and umm Clairborn, oh wait silly me, ti was all teh drafting. thats what its about duuhhhh.

What on earth does that even mean?

It doesn't deserve credit? Is that what you meant?

I called you out on it? You made it public to everyone here.

I don't put people on ignore either, but I don't think I need to get to know you better to know you're deadpanning and old and tired agenda of "boo Jerry Jones! Boo!" if you feel the need to reach out, I'm here.

any player added to this team, any coach added to this team, any scout hired to this team Is on Jerry. You are right Claiborne on Jerry and Carr. As I said when the picks fail he deserves blame just as he deserve credit when players like Tyron Smith, Frederick and Zack Martin pan out, when guys like Dez show themselves as super stars and yes Romo as well. There is 1 boss in Dallas his name is Jerry Jones.

Where are the Jerry haters now???

Remember when he was the "worst GM in the league", even though he's always been a GM in title only? Even though our results were NEVER "worst" in the league by ANY reasonable metric? Even though the Cowboys have drafted a ton of Pro Bowlers over the last several years? Even though the stacked, Pro Bowl-laden team of 2007 was mostly there independent of Parcells? Remember that, guys???

Where are they??? Seriously, I'm starting to get worried... too soon to call 9-1-1???

I'm still here and I'm giving him mega kudos, well deserved and well done. I love the story about how he flew him out on a private jet and brought him to his house where Romo and the entire offensive line was there to recruit him.

Amazing day, so great to see them cashing in out the Cowboy name
