What on earth does that even mean?

It doesn't deserve credit? Is that what you meant?

I called you out on it? You made it public to everyone here.

I don't put people on ignore either, but I don't think I need to get to know you better to know you're deadpanning and old and tired agenda of "boo Jerry Jones! Boo!" if you feel the need to reach out, I'm here.

lol, its ok, you arent going to try anything,

Does it deserve credit, lets see the evidence first. Thats all, you think they are great, fine, thats your opinion. I want to see the evidence, in my eyes not all players work in every system or is a fit for every coach and their schemes. We have had talent like otehr teams that has to go to different teams. We can also draft talent and use it poorly where other teams might use it better, and vice versa am i going to get excited over every pick. no, its just not in me.

So, by your criteria, "Executive of the Year" is actually based on a full career of work, not one season. That, "of the Year" part is arbitrary. So glad you're here to clue us all in.

Are you being serious? I can't even tell anymore.

dead serious, do you really think the contributons of Spencer were so great to this teams success? did you see Lee on teh field? Some players on the field were people some fans were harping since day 1 and are gone now, unless you quickly forgot all teh fan fair Carter got for showing up. Personally i dont, i didnt get excited over the pick, i didnt think he was anything special and i dont whoop and holler over every move, you want to have at it. Some players i know are "meh" and some their talent doesnt kick in til every falls into place. ITs life.

Scott Linehan. Jason Garrett. Rod Marinelli. Fredrich. Martin. Hitchens. McCLain.

Do you need more?

Linehan was Garretts as i was told, Marnille was Kiffens guy as i was tld here, McClain was not the big signing as i was told here, that was Melton. Garrett, if you are imrepssed wiht 1 winnig seaosn than yes, you can have that victory. Fredrick i praised before many, most liekly not a JJ signing and Martin, agian many here didnt credit JJ to that one. So, good work there.

Jerry is GM. NO ONE comes here without him signing off. You want to blame him for all the bad of the past, but then also refuse to give him credit for recent history. You're qualifying every signing and draft pick in a way that suits your argument. You're being unreasonable. When you want to actually give credit where its due, not qualify, then we can rehash this. Done.

If the rest of the league needed any more ammo to hate the Cowboys, they just got it.

I thought Jerry sold his soul to the devil in 1990. Turns out, it was just a 25 year lease, and it was time to renew the lease. Expect more Super Bowls forthcoming.

Edit: Apparently 1990 was 25 years ago (not 15). Yeah, that makes me feel old.

Why are you including Garrett in there?

Because almost everyone was calling for Red's head after last season and Jerry stuck by him. That's a GM move if ever I have seen one. It's not just hiring and firing. It's decision making on many different levels. They are all included.

as already mention no one is hired without Jerry approval. Jerry like any other GM gets major input from those around him. I agree Jason wanting Linehan and Jerry making it happen was key. Marnillie did come over with Kiffen and Jerry hired them both. They did not hire themselves.

Was/is Byron Jones really Top 20 talent?

Not in my opinion, but at the very least he was top 50. To get three top-50 value players without trading anything is pretty significant. We still have to see if they pan out, but at this point all we can base any draft picks on are their projections and, with Collins in the mix, no one had nearly the draft or free agency we have had. Collins and Hardy are the best free agents at their positions this year (I know that's a weird statement to include Collins, but he was a FA).
