Good morning, so we didn't draft a TE, yet it was talked about and played around with up until last night, and look what happened. Jerry you you funny man, you got us, you gave us all something to talk about.

With that said, will you fall for it again? I like this game Jerry is playing. We talk bad about Jerry at times, but he's much smarter than us at running a team. He hasn't lost it all yet, maybe we have!! Please give your thoughts....

Im just not sure how Mazi moved up into the 1st round as he was sledded by some Mocks to be our 2nd round pick at 58. That’s quite a leap.

Hopefully we didn’t miss on a TE and could have had a DT in 2nd round . I’ll look forward to see how Mazi moved up .

I'm not upset by the pick, but I would have given them an A++ had they traded down with KC. Even if they would have taken Mazi Benton would have still been available at their pick who I think may end up being the best DT from this class. I'm a Mazi fan, just not enough of one to not gather an extra pick via a trade down and still get the best DT or TE left on the board.

Yes, he was, but Jerry has no control over what other teams do, as far as trading draft picks. Buffalo may have given zero indications that they might move up past Dallas in the first round. Not every team has a blabbermouth like Jerry in charge. You can't run your draft just by trying to out think what other teams might do, you set your board and go with it, for the most part.

And I'm not a Jerry fan, as far as being the gm goes, in case you didn't know that. But every team has been jumped over in the draft at one time or another, nothing unusual in that...

I dont think we were ever drafting a TE at 26. The logic told me this. THEN go back and watch what Mike McCarthy said at his predraft presser. Listen carefully as he did actually tell us which way we were going. Everyone was heavy panting for a TE. I found it funny and just foolish. We have a great TE room already and adding another at 26 never made sense.

they were discussing accepting a trade back with KC and Mike pushed back because he knew we'd lose him. and said no. Mike wanted Mazi. He said all this in the post draft presser. Turns out, KC was trading up with Dallas to draft Mazi.

Many had him right where he was drafted as well. I'll say it again, TE was never going to be the pick at 26. We just invested in Ferguson last draft and UDFA Hendershot. That being said, We may wanna add a TE during day 2. If the value is there.We made the right pick.

So, why do you think Buffalo jumped in front of us at the last minute to select a TE? Cowboys waited until the final minute to turn that card in. It looked to me like KIncaide was their man and they were left scrambling after the trade.
