Zeke won't upgrade our short yardage at all. Did anyone who claims this pay any attention to Zeke this last year? RBs DO NOT get better with age.

Zeke doesn't have to get better to upgrade our short yardage run game, it was horrific a year ago. His size/running style alone should be an upgrade. Zeke likely has way worse numbers overall than Pollard had last year, but racks up the TDs and first downs in this offenese.

This is the problem of your football team when the owner/GM is a Fan and or friend with a player, it clouds his judgement making decisions about players on the team, Zeke should have NEVER been resigned by this team..

I like how he highlighted short yardage as a point of emphasis. Hes right in that regard, Zeke will upgrade our short yardage situations, but thats not the reason to pass on a superior back and bring back a guy the rest of the league passed on.

Know what, that Zeke will upgrade situational short yardage success? Because its the thing he has done best his entire career, and its the thing Pollard was probably the worst at.

Yep. I won’t even say he’s losing his mind. He truly believes this and has been thinking this way for some time. We can’t confuse incompetence with being senile.

That would be a problem for sure. We know he gets too close to players he drafted. But don't believe what he said for a second regarding this. They didn't go after Henry because they have zero interest in that part of free agency. They have skipped that part of FA for over a decade now. Had Henry still been there when they came back, they would have picked him up for about 2M a year. But that was never going to happen.
