Jerry Jones: Wade Phillips is one of the 'best talent evaluators'

Who has just had his best season as a QB under the current coaching staff? :laugh2:

I'll agree with you that Bill Parcells was past his prime when it came to coaching and he really was too old schooled.

who brought Payton to Dallas?

who wouldn't trade Romo to New Orleans when Payton left after the 2005 season?

Parcells had his eyes opened after Romo got to Dallas but he wouldn't have been there except for Payton. He'd be playing for Denver (or Washington now that what's his name is coaching there). Parcells gets more credit than he deserves about some things.

what's your point?

Point is players have progressed under this staff. Not fallen off and not just Romo but others as well.

and that has exactly what to do with what I said?

I think your Texas homerness is clouding your brain.

Just saying this staff has been able to get allot out of these players keeping a player around and getting something out of them are 2 different things.

if Terry Glenn didn't fumble the ball or if Romo didn't drop the snap or if Roy Williams didn't whiff on Shaun Alexander he woulda gotten something out of those players too. the current staff is doing a good job but I think they can and should do better. with that said I was pleased with last season and consider it a successful one. now it's time to make a serious run at #6.

Had we thrown more vs a depleted Seahawks secondary we may have won there are always alot of maybe and what ifs when you lose. I do agree that current staff is doing a good job but can and must do better and if they can we may be able to have a real run at #6

Well thank god we have Wade as HC.

I never knew he was a signing/drafting genius.

This is so sad. Making excuses for our loss to a talent-poor team.
We could have beaten a mediocre team!

I weep for the future. And the present.
