Jerry does have the benefit of watching the practices and all so.... but from the games I've seen, he was a Bullet pass one trick poney. But I hope I'm wrong, he looked good in spare time. Let's see what happens.

No doubt the offense will be simplified. You won't see Weeden killing plays at the LOS the way Romo does. Romo has a lot of freedom to change things around before the snap. Weedens leash will be much shorter. He's a backup for a reason.

I'm not sure about this. Yeah he isn't a guy whose leash will be long when it comes to maybe audibles but overall we are talking 7 games. You can't get too simple of you will win 1 game. He is a backup but he is also there to take over in case things go wrong. To tell you the truth I'd do the opposite with him. No one expects much out of him so why not let him make the throws when he has to? Running into a stacked line and 5 yard outs might work for 1-2 games but not 7.

He's 100% right. The dude can throw a rope and put it right on the money. We saw it at least 2 times on Sunday. He's a good passer and has all the tools. Is he a good QB though? Not to this point in his career. Maybe the light has/will come on for him. I sure hope so.
