Maybe that’s why Jerry stuck with Garrett for so long because he likes pain. This explains all the moves he makes. It’s all for the sake of pain. The man is a glutton for punishment.

Jerruh should become a member here, if he likes criticism so much!
It'd easily turn out to be like time spent in heaven, every day! :muttley:

There you go! Jerry "likes" people talking negatively about him.

Have at it...:flagwave::muttley::laugh:

remember when Jerry first bought the Cowboys then fired Tom the press was daily rained hell on him. Jerry was bristling and adding to the fire.He took advice from a PR firm [If I recall correctly] and learned how to respond in the media.
He adapted and began a period of building insider reporters to get his message out. After a few years reporters started noticing he eat fire and smiled. He won many over just taken the heat. Smart men adapt

He's the type of guy that thinks criticism means he's doing something right. I kind of understand why he thinks that. Early in his business life he took some risks that people said he was nuts to take and it worked out for him, so I am guessing he approaches running this team like he approached his early oil/gas days............

But I'd love to ask Jerry Jones one question.

Look back at the last 25 years. Assume the exact same results year to year. If in 1996 he hired a new GM, would that GM still be employed today?

Of course not. Which makes his run as GM and his belief he's doing things the right way pretty laughable.

He already admitted that, which is the equivalent of spitting in our faces.

We've had Jerry pegged pretty, pretty good all these years. He knows he sucks and has done a horrible job, but he is a fan of the team and of course will never sell his golden goose. He knows the majority of fans despise him as GM but cannot do anything about it. He is winning as far as he is concerned, if you don't believe him....look at his bank account.
You can't take money to the grave...having a name and a legacy to be proud of...much more important.
