Obviously they would only guarantee money if they think his production will pick back up. If they think he is done, they will just release him.

And as for as a trade goes, nobody is going to trade for his contract. Ask yourself this question, "if Dallas doesn't think he is worth $12.5 a year, why would anybody else?"

And if he is done, why do you care if he ends up in the division?

Well one the cowboys can't afford that and two there are plenty teams with play money that just don't give a damn about 12.5M.

has he been cut yet? sounds like the cowboys might try to make him take a pay cut and he will likely say no....so hes gone probably. dumb to do before the draft imho

What time is this meeting today, considering Dez' alarm clock challenges?

Not sure. I suppose my strategy will be to check back here every 15 minutes, effectively burning up the entire day lol.

Where was Papa Jerry when the Cowboys were letting Bryant flip in the wind?

From what I read, he was the one guy that continued to insist that he would be here.

Everyone else either criticized him (Stephen Jones), or hid like they usually do and said nothing in public.

His best year was 2014 IMO...he played at a high level during the playoff stretch. He is clearly not the same and has regressed for whatever reason.

Dez is a minimal effort guy.......addition by subtraction........he's a low production drama queen that we can do without.
One thing he gives outstanding effort on is his blocking. I will give him that. His routes though.are just uninspired...always have been. I don't see that changing.

 Low production who is the all time Cowboys leader in TD's. I think your posting lately has been minimal effort, too bad we cant cut you.
lol, gotta love the Dez lovers....they don't have the ammo to disprove why he needs to go without personal attacks...which is par for the course......just because most of us expect more out of a #WR than roughly 700 yds and dramatic theatrics on the sidelines.....

Oh, one other thing.......when he's the first one to leave the huddle, more times than not, he's not involved in that particular play......if we can figure it out you know that opposing DC's have as well.

Fact: Dez is low effort on his routes..especially when he gets disinterested. Drops balls an elite wideout is suppose to catch routinely.

I am just saying if you want to call out his last 3 years one of which he was injured in why not call out his unproductive first 5 years when he was one of the best in the business. You like to say we don't have ammo, and say we have an agenda, but apparently you do to if you don't want to count his first years in the NFL. @Rayman70 I am not being a homer here, I am simply saying use his whole body of work, not just 3 years one of which he was hurt and rushed back from injury. He hasn't been the same since that jones fracture.

Really? He left the huddle early a lot in 2014, including early against Philly that season. He was pretty heavily involved that game. Including 2 tds which he left the huddle early.
