Just saw the teaser for today's Cold Pizza. Of course it will probably be in the last hour, but Jerry is slated to be on Cold Pizza today.

Zippy Speedster said:Lmao, ok, dude. I'm sure he'll skip right over all the other subjects that America in general would want to hear about just so he can appease a handful of the Cowboy fans.
I remember Quincy having a couple of games where he really looked promising also.. Oh but wait, that was at the PROFESSIONAL level, as in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, against teams like the Commanders, Giants, Panthers. Yea I just bet jerry is going to fall into the trap of going onto national tv and talking up a guy who's doing well on the european level, after so many nfl hopefuls have come back to slap him in the face. I mean Jerry must just be doing flips in his office cause that's so impressive. Watch out walking past a TV store when this is on, madrush from America about ready to happen, could get stompled, Jerry talking about Drew Henson, hottest topic of the day, get yours while it's still hot....
I'm sure you are right and there will be little or no mention of Henson...and more's the pity.Zippy Speedster said:Lmao, ok, dude. I'm sure he'll skip right over all the other subjects that America in general would want to hear about just so he can appease a handful of the Cowboy fans.

It will all be about Owens coming to Dallas...as if there was anything left to say about that. But I'm sure there are a handful of fans that can't get enough of that crap. Whereas finding out if the Owner of the team feels that we have found our QB of the future or if he is planning on making a move in that direction is just a trivial matter that no real Cowboys fan should care about.

What exactly has happened since the end of the season that would make Jerry believe he's found the QB of the future, while I am also excited about Henson's progress, theirs nothing he's done in the past 4 starts that would make Jerry Jones believes we've found our QB of the future and I doubt he'd gone cold pizza and show his hand about which direction the teams heading.JackMagist said:I'm sure you are right and there will be little or no mention of Henson...and more's the pity.

In your opinion.Charles said:What exactly has happened since the end of the season that would make Jerry believe he's found the QB of the future, while I am also excited about Henson's progress, theirs nothing he's done in the past 4 starts that would make Jerry Jones believes we've found our QB of the future and I doubt he'd gone cold pizza and show his hand about which direction the teams heading.

You don't know this. I don't know this. No on knows this.
IMO No one knows if Henson has what it takes to be the our QB of the future, but I do know and the simplest of common sense would let you know that 4 impressive games in NFLE by a QB would never be indicator for whether or not the DallasCowboys have found their future QB, if it is then we've come a long way from the days when Staubach outlasted Morton and Troy Aikman beat out Walsh.Hostile said:In your opinion.

No one is claiming that Henson is the second coming from a few Europe games.Zippy Speedster said:Lmao, ok, dude. I'm sure he'll skip right over all the other subjects that America in general would want to hear about just so he can appease a handful of the Cowboy fans.

They are merely celebrating the fact that it isn't painfully obvious that he couldn't do it in the NFL, ala Hutch.
You can believe this all you want. I will maintain, and be right by the way, that football people do in fact know if someone has "IT." In fact most of them are so good at their jobs that they can know this about players from scrimmages, practices, and even private workouts along with actual game film study of their college careers. It's called scouting. Unique concept pretty much accepted league wide.Charles said:IMO No one knows if Henson has what it takes to be the our QB of the future, but I do know and the simplest of common sense would let you know that 4 impressive games in NFLE by a QB would never be indicator for whether or not the DallasCowboys have found their future QB, if it is then we've come a long way from the days when Staubach outlasted Morton and Troy Aikman beat out Walsh.
Nice try, but not knowing whether a QB has it or not is much different than knowing for a fact that 4 games in NFLE will never carry that much weight.
Henson has made a step in the right direction, but lets not forget the several steps in wrong direction in the past 2 seasons..........in the spirit of the masters he's not in red numbers yet.
Good literary work, but highly unnecessary.Hostile said:You can believe this all you want. I will maintain, and be right by the way, that football people do in fact know if someone has "IT." You should look into it. Fascinating stuff.
Again, you do not know what Jerry thinks of him, though you acted as if you did. That statement was nothing more than your opinion, because I highly doubt you went to Arkansas and lived in the same dorm as Jerry Jones. That story line has been tried here and proven false.
Your opinion is probably a very wrong opinion. I think Jerry Jones is the type of guy who isn't wishy washy on these things. Rather he's a successful man because his determination drives him. Assuming he's running around in the dark is laughable. Naive, but laughable.
