Yeah this is the issue. Jerry can say and do all the dumb stuff he wants, but the root of it all is that the Cowboys did almost nothing to try and improve this team from the 2023 version. I can't blame anyone for being negative this season.

Is this the same argument that we used for not drafting TJ Watt and taking Taco Charlton? Shouldn't a great coach be able to take great players and adjust their system for the players? Our RBs are pure trash. Dowdle would probably be a backup for most teams but the other guys on the roster may not even belong in the league, except for Luepke (you can't run a running game solely through a FB) . Zeke needs cut and if Dalvin Cook can't beat out Zeke then he needs to be shown the door too. Start raiding other team's practice squads for RBs and hope you get lucky. Anyone we sign can't be any worse than Zeke. Poor guy has absolutely no burst left.

Exactly.......no way hell, anyone can say he wouldn't help this offense. Now is possible Jerry is saying he wouldn't help enough to justify his contract coz we wouldn't give as many carries ........coz of Dak needs to earn his $60M.
