For the life of me, why is Jerry discussing player injuries/availability..

Because he is the GM of the Dallas Cowboys and that is what GMs do. I hear Rick Smith on the Radio all the time discussing the Texans and their moves with players, injuries, development etc. I suspect it is the same with every GM. When they are asked questions, they answer. Now Jerry has a way of saying things that leaves everyone shaking their head, that's for sure.

Jerry has made two egregious errors in reporting player injuries (Lawrence and Dez) in less than two weeks.

Is that 40-year-old mind starting to age finally?
Not sure Jerry made any errors with Dez. Dez still won't rule himself out for Sunday. He isn't officially out as some report. He is officially listed as Questionable. No doctor that has examined his MRI has said there is a real risk of worsening the injury. The only doctors that have reviewed his MRI have said what Jerry reported.

Jerry needs to reconsider his choice of refreshments! The club should try for a 2nd round pick for Bryant before its too late.

I'm no doctor but I can't imagine how playing football with a fractured bone in your leg can't make things worse.

Am I bad person for wanting Jerry to go the way of Al Davis? I feel like an A hole for saying it, but look at the Raiders now with Del Rio and co. Complete turn around.

Has SJones shown any variance in his approach to Jerry? I still see him giving interviews, too. All up in the media forray. Are we doomed for eternity? The Jones' will never let this org out of their iron grip.

Kind of interesting.
Jerry says its not an issue with him doing further damage to his knee....hmm..

As far as Bryant’s ability to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, Jones said he doesn’t know how to read it. Bryant has not practiced all week. But he is doing rehab work with the team’s athletic trainers. The team refuses to rule him out.

Jones said it’s not an issue of him doing further damage to the injury, but more of an issue of ability to play and function with pain.

“I don't know. I think, again, it has to do with how sensitive,” Jones said. “I know that he's not only right now in terms of cutting and doing the things that you'll have to do to play.”

"I think it's the ability -- and it's not tolerance -- it's the ability to actually perform with pain. And that's different than tolerance. But your mind will absolutely react to a certain amount of pain no matter how tough you are."

Here's my Dez theme song..

want them to play it on the Jumbotron screen when Dez next gets introduced in pre-game..

Like to see the players come out of the tunnel with Dez and do this.

The Commissioner would freak.

Dallas needs a coach like Jimmy Johnson and Jerry needs to find one and let him have the control needed to get this football team on top again ! Super Bowl Champs :star::starspin::star:

I'm not gonna hold my breath on Jerry finding that coach, and letting him take full control. But I wholeheartedly agree with, Dave! :)
