Honestly, it's gotten to the point that whatever Jerry says, just assume the opposite. It's almost embarrassing at this point that he goes on the radio or talks to the press and claims one thing and then the exact opposite happens.

What do mean "huh"?

Listen carefully..

"Once Sunday rolls around Dez will stop by my bus and I will mix him one of my "Arkansas Woblers" and send him out to play. He won't feel a thing".

Got it?

Man..you would think anybody could interpret Jerrah anymore.

He knows what to do and what to say.

Kind of interesting.
Jerry says its not an issue with him doing further damage to his knee....hmm..

http://www.star-telegram.com/sports/nfl/dallas-cowboys/cowboys-corner-blog/article105156641.html

As far as Bryant’s ability to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, Jones said he doesn’t know how to read it. Bryant has not practiced all week. But he is doing rehab work with the team’s athletic trainers. The team refuses to rule him out.

Jones said it’s not an issue of him doing further damage to the injury, but more of an issue of ability to play and function with pain.

“I don't know. I think, again, it has to do with how sensitive,” Jones said. “I know that he's not only right now in terms of cutting and doing the things that you'll have to do to play.”

"I think it's the ability -- and it's not tolerance -- it's the ability to actually perform with pain. And that's different than tolerance. But your mind will absolutely react to a certain amount of pain no matter how tough you are."
What the bloody hell???

Good grief.

The sad part is, he thinks he's being Sun Tzu or Machiavelli.

Dez made the trip to SF. Still a slight possibility he plays. I didn't think he would travel if it was a given he would not play.

We went down this, "ability to play through pain", hero stuff last year and look what happened. He hobbled around for the rest of the year.

Would much prefer he heal if needed.

I don't know if it is legal but hunting wild boars out of a helicopter sounds fun.

When Jerry was showing off his new helicopter that's one of the things he actually said.."It's great..you can shoot pigs out of it."

He's a mess..lol

So now the report from Rapaport - "likely shorter than 3 weeks...bone bruise...no long term risk"

-----

He traveled and he will workout pregame to determine if he can play. Assuming the swelling has subsided, I'd say it's 50/50 he plays.
