Again, you need to understand Jerry. He is rich, very rich. He bought the Cowboys because he likes what it does for him, and he gets to be the GM. It's like his fantasy football team.
He bought a race car. He pays mechanics to make it go fast, a pit crew to change the tires and refuel it, but he is the driver. He bought the car to drive it. He is not in this to be an owner. He is in it to drive on the track against professional drivers because it is fun. It is his play thing. He never wins but sometimes he places and he uses that success to claim he is good at what he does. He doesn't think another driver could win every race. He doesn't get any enjoyment of watching someone else drive his car. That's why Jimmy Johnson stopped driving it after just a few short years.
It is Jerry's car and he is not getting out of the driver seat no matter how many times he crashes or loses. In the meantime, we blame the pit boss because Jerry can't drive.
