no, we have seen fans without commons sense make ridiculous claims for 5 long years.

Lol. You are delusional. Garrett has been here 5 years and has made zero progress with this team or his coaching ability. Has won one measly wild card game in his tenure and has missed the playoffs 80% of the time.

Man I wonder why people question him so much?!

This sounded like a direct shot at Linehan and Pollack to me.

Yeah. The morning paper fetcher is safe. No doubt. He's too valuable. Who else is going to be there religiously at 5am every morning to fetch the paper from the end of the driveway and deliver it at the foot of Jerry's bed?

and did all this with a QB like Romo which is 90% of the battle most teams face. Not having a legit franchise QB.

Good, Garrett deserves to be held accountable for another time management blunder. Just as the players deserve to be held accountable for any plays they don't execute.

I have never seen a Garrett team not play hard. He has the locker room. That's what is important.

Bad clock decisions happen all the time all over the NFL. Same with playcalling, scheme, "lighting a fire under them", and all the mindless, know-nothing blather you hear in every NFL city all the time.

This team is missing Romo and perhaps Callahan, and the offensive line and personnel are overrated otherwise. Romo makes stars out of otherwise average dudes.

Do you always argue from a position of anger where you name call? You said it isn't on coaching. I answered that coaching is part of it so he should have been instructed. You come back with a "who knows but you are ignorant." See how that went?

lol so true

Jerrah sees Gabbert winning games. Hasselback at 40 winning games. Texans backups winning games. All mediocre to poor teams winning at least a game or two with backup QBs.

We were supposed to be a SB contender and we barely won 1 game out of 8 with our backups. Many of those losses featured poor game mgmt, poor playcalling, poor preparation, and dumb mistakes. Of course the players are culpable too but HCs are always accountable for how their team reflects.

Jerrah even admitted the first few years of Garrett that he was "learning on the job" to justify his game killing mistakes. 6 years in and Garrett still makes the same mistakes. He has absolutely no awareness he is just stuck in cheerlead mode.

WE NEED A REAL COACH WHO UNDERSTANDS NFL FOOTBALL NOT A PR GUY

Exactly. Can you imagine Garrett on a team with a subpar QB? He'd top out at 3 wins. He proved when Romo went down this year his staff actually is a negative to this team. Not a positive. Could not even win one single game after Romo went down. And the owner finally sees that.

The only reason Jason is even coaching this team is because no other team wanted him. He interviewed and was turned down. And Jerry made the mistake of naming him the OC here before he even hired Wade, which was ridiculous. A HC is supposed to pick his whole staff.

The only reason Jason has any ounce of success (only last year) is because of Romo.

There was 1:19 on the clock when McFadden takes the second and one carry in from the six. It is VERY reasonable to expect a veteran back, especially one who has been reminded of the situation, to fall down after getting the first down. Getting the first down forces the first timeout. Kneeling on first down forces the second and last timeout. You now have second AND Third down to burn up to 80 seconds of clock - that's 1:20 - more time than needed. Use a timeout with a second remaining for a chip shot and put the game on the foot of the most consistent kicker in NFL history. Period.

And I'm a (former) Jason apologist. That was indefensible game management.

I said we don't know what was said, and we don't.

yet your entire stance is based on not knowing. that is pathetic. you can hold onto irrational opinions, but I call people out for them. don't like it - too frigging bad!

thank god people like you don't call the shots.

the run play on both downs was a solid all. Garret can't force a back to stay in bounds. questioning those play calls says more about you then it does the coach!

its been horrible all year!

You even saw the Skins bench light up and point to the clock after the TD and console Desean. They were all like hey we got a chance. You NEVER give the other team a chance if you can avoid it. It was totally avoidable.

He doesn't have the locker room any more than 90 percent of NFL coaches out there. Is there dissent in Jacksonville? Houston? Etc etc? In fact they don't have monkeys and locker room media fights as far as I know.

Every NFL team plays hard 95 percent of the time. Garrett is not an exception for preaching that. He just isn't. The Skins played hard last night. It's not a new thing.

Seriously if all Garrett has is they play hard because 5 years ago the team took off a few plays under Wade then that is sad and pathetic.

The list of excuses for this guy is a mile long and the only redeeming quality he has is that he can get guys who are professionals and paid millions of dollars to play hard.

Well at least Jerrah had a moment of being publicly critical of the coaching.

It's rare.

Maybe he will bring Payton in.
