I guess you could look at it that way. I don't work OT, and sometimes turn down higher paying jobs. Does that mean I like money any less? No, I love money. Just not my top priority.

I'm sure the Jones boys would be thrilled if the Cowboys won a SB. There is just a limit to how far they'll go to get it. It's not their top priority.

Well said. I’d add that they don’t want to risk being bad for a couple of seasons….although that is bound to happen eventually anyway.

The teams of the last three years would have had a real shot if they had…let’s say two more players on defense. They decided to go without that so they wouldn’t have cap issues by where we are now…..yet all they do now is moan about cap issues.

This is where they don’t get it the most. When you have a couple of nice drafts in a row, take your shot before everyone has to be paid. They try to play the middle and outsmart everyone, then act as if it’s a foolproof winning formula and everyone else is stupid.
