To be fair, Jones offered to induct Landry into the ROH as early as 1989. Landry refused induction until accepting in 1993.

That's true but as I recall, Coach Landry, at the time, was very involved with the health of his youngest Daughter Lisa, who had Cancer and eventually died of it. I don't think Coach Landry ever wanted to be involved in anything Jerry was a part of but that's kind of the point right? It's a bit symptomatic of what we are seeing with Jimmy. Kinda of a pattern.

It's very possible that Jerry has tried to out Jimmy in the ROH and Jimmy has said no thanks. Both sides in this fight are spiteful. Who knows where the truth really is we will never know
