This is such a bad way to look at it. Do you think teams are calling Philadelphia, saying, “We have talent to offload; please rip us off?”

Push your way into a conversation a seller is having with another team and get the deal that’s best for you. Sitting and waiting for something to fall into your lap is a terrible strategy for improving the roster

Agree 100%. It’s bad GM work to “let trades come to you.” Just look at the GMs of the last 3 SB winners. Rams Les Snead, Tampa’s Jason Licht and KCs Brett Veach were all aggressive in Free agency and trades.

In other words, if another team wants to do the work and calls us we'll listen. Otherwise we'll be over here smelling ourselves over the great job we're doing.
Truth. And one of the main reasons we’ve been watching most of the playoffs at home the last 27 seasons.
