In other words, if another team wants to do the work and calls us we'll listen. Otherwise we'll be over here smelling ourselves over the great job we're doing.
Not the first time, heck, not even the second , or third time that he or his idiot son have said this exact same thing. It’s a principle philosophy for these idiots.

What's the odds on Jerry making a trade before the deadline? +500? It's -950 if you bet no trade.

I might be in the minority here but I’m fine not doing anything. As long as Brown’s foot is going to be ok and Washington is set to come back. I loved the Hankins get.

Won't be enough to get out of the NFC and definitely won't get you a win over Buffalo or Kansas city.

It's lazy. It's a product of knowing you can't be fired.
100%.

Have you seen/heard some of the things Jimmy talks about in his new book? Let's just say it gives a good idea of how hands on Jerry wants to be and how "the show" is always more important than the product.

I’m with ya. I’m not opposed to making a deal if something is there that will dramatically improve our chances this year, but there’s no need to do something just to be doing something.

I’lltake the maximum wager on +500

I'm usually wrong. This is why I wrote that last post. I have to put it down in writing. This gives us a better chance of something good happening. I hope you're right.

That first quote is Stephen and Jerry in a nutshell. They don’t seek trades, they only listen when trades come their way. Probably because they know they’re gonna get fleeced when they’re the eager trader.

We can get OBJ and Suh for nothing right now if we want.

I dunno -- I'm seeing a lot of get-after-it out of Jerry these days. He managed to dress up for Halloween last night and wake up for his morning round of interviews this morning. I smell something big coming!!

So he believes he's running out of time and the team can make a run this year and he's willing to improve the team today at the deadline but it's up to the rest of the league if that happens. They need to come to us.

Jerry Jones is proof you can be a moron and a billionaire at the same time.
