Why do I have this image of Jerry Jones doing his best Charlton Heston impression? Throwing up his Cowboy helmet and shouting to everyone "Not until you pry them from my cold dead hands!"

Get used to your Hell.
Fighting it is useless.
Relax your muscles with the lashes.
It helps.

There are Cowboy fans that don't even remember the 90's.

How about the 70s? The Cowboys were THE team of the 70s. Maybe even more so than the 90s.

It was new. It was a rush. It was bold. It captured the imagination of the nation.

If only I could relate what that meant to so many at the time. The time before cell phones and personal computers and twitter and all that jazz.

What that felt like.

Glorious.

There is no need to ask Jerry. The answer has been the same since Jimmy left. He never considers that a different opinion could make a huge difference before he signs those checks and makes his final decision.

It's why I fell in love with the team. That era was the best and the organization was well respected. I lived and died with those teams. The players were my idols as was Tom Landry .Jerry's got me so frustrated I just turn the TV on and have the voice going in the background while I post in the game thread. I already know what's going to happen. lol

Jerry, you hire someone else to be GM so that you don’t spread yourself too thin. The GM position isn’t something that you can do part time. It’s a full time gig.

Does Jerry run a football organization or a clown college? I can't tell sometimes.

Go buy a new Cowboys jersey and order your season tickets.

And hang your head in shame.

Only problem I’ve ever had with Jerry is his coaching hires outside of Jimmy and Bill.

(1) Pride goes before destruction
(2) That is the reason why Dallas will never see another Superbowl until
Jerry joins Al Davis
(3) Doesn't matter who walks the sideline for the Cowboys, the culture will still
be the same.
(4) Cowboys job is nothing special anymore. Why would any "good" coach want to
come to Dallas? Why? Certainly NOT to win a Superbowl, but more so to
be another celebrity.
