Not outrageous
Im a believer in qb rating. Dak career 97. Jimmy 100.0
Jimmy took a team to a SB. Dak hasnt gotten to the conference game
Its close at this point. But I wouldnt be at all surprised if Dak was much better in 2020 than him. We shall see.

Now the Dak slobbers will hone in on only certain words in my comment and get mad, when in fact I made a balanced comment.

Jimmy G, like Dak, is just along for the ride and depends on others to carry him places.

San fran had the 2nd best defense in the league last year. And a phenomenal run game. Jimmy G was a non factor. He was dilferesque last season.

Dak is so much better than Jimmy it's not even funny.

Jimmy was near the bottom of the league in air yards, and at the top in YAC. Dak was the exact opposite. Jimmy's numbers are entirely the product of that scheme.

They're pretty comparable but Jimmy G has a much better W/L ratio and can actually beat the PACKERS...

I think its a wash between them, although if forced to choose, I'd give Jimmy G the nod because of how far he's led his team.

I'm inclined to agree with that rating. I've long felt Garoppolo was better than Dak but didn't think it was that close. They're both good.

To be fair, Dak accumulated most of his numbers against trash teams.

We all watched the same games last year... its hard to deny

I think we should have Michael Irvin weigh in on this too. Thinking he would go Dak, lol.

I love Irvin and Rice, but I suspect there will always be bias towards the teams they played for. The NFL top 100 has Dak at 46 and Jimmy at 43 so guess according to that vote Jimmy a couple cms better. The 49ers had everything come together for them last year and made it to the Super Bowl and almost won it despite some pretty pedistrian performances from Jimmy.

A lot of people do deny it. In looking to the YAC stat...I found this:
(I hope I am not violating any rule....I posted a link once and got a warning. Please forgive me mods and just delete if necessary. I feel this is an important link to back up Mr. Onions)

"Now is not the time to celebrate Dak the passer, because the more the Cowboys lose, the more his NFL-best stats are exposed as garbage time buckets."
