Every team has GM involvement and owner involvement, but to have both in 1 guy is probably extra taxing for the coaching staff/players. Plus Oline always has direct impact on passing game performance. And the running game does too; if Pollard isn’t his former self, that’ll allow defenses to play the pass more. Lots of things have to be aligned just right

He is a big play guy that lost his speed due to combo of injuries and age.

He is sitting out there free available to all teams and nothing has happened.
He is apparently willing to come in for 1 year and 12M GTD.
At that number if no one is taking him it is pretty clear the league as a whole feels he is cooked.

How many receivers do we need? It makes no sense to pay big $ for 4 WRs, when supposedly we are going to be a run dominant offense next season. There are other needs to spend that $ on. Still need a kicker, etc.
