Jerry said he would pay anything for another SB so why not Hopkins?

Does Hopkins have a guaranteed super bowl or refund clause in his contract?

I think the bigger point here is ( which your excellent stats present) only 3 seeds lower than 4th which would have had playoffs entirely on the road win Super Bowl which means it’s extremely long odds if you don’t win your division .

And why I’d argue the NFL needs to move to seedings based on records not division titles.

You just can't do that because than your basically taking away from teams that win their division. To me it wouldn't matter for the Cowboys anyway because they have been known to not play well at home.

No, we could do just like the NBA. Winning your division clinches a playoff spot but doesn’t clinch a home game which would be based on records.

Like Tampa last year still gets in playoffs but wouldn’t have had a home game . Cowboys would have .

Tampa would have been 7th seed not 4th. Cowboys would have been 3rd seed.

Right, we aren’t going for Hopkins . We are already heavily invested in receivers and why we will be a pro passing attack again instead of pounding the rock . And unless Prescott has a banner season and can remain healthy it will be another disappointing season unless our defense can score points too.
 
Since when has a luxury signing at wr ever helped a team get to and win a SB? I can't think of 1. Even if we signed him, whats that do to the chemistry? We play this game with 1 ball.

OBJ with the Rams. He was very good addition That gave them another dynamic, and they were already a dynamite team offensively.

Antonio Brown for the Bucs, they already had pro bowlers at WR and Gronk
 
he would unfortunatley years ago he knew his older self would spend money so he put rules in place that kept him from actually having to write that check.....
