So Garrett has no say in the matter? This is one of the reasons we're sitting home. :(

Garrett is the head coach. Many head coaches don’t get involved in personnel isssues. That’s what a general manager is there for.

He can lobby for a player but personnel decisions is not one of his job duties.

I like Crayton over Williams, too. But Give me Beasley over Crayton, for sure.

I liked Crayton. He ran great routes. Although he pretty much stopped on the route that would have gotten us to the NFC championship game. And Romo got blamed for it. Sad sad day.

Not sure.

Need more from Beasley instead of one good season.

Crayton has more versatility for sure.

Garrett is supposed to be the leader of the team. And he is supposed to be the offensive GENIUS that puts this thing together. Probably the biggest decision with the offense next year is what is going to be done with Dez. If he has no say in that decision then the guy does nothing but bring water.

Awesome Jerry, you da man.......you should extend him give him a substatial raise.

Just in case you haven't noticed, your rival eagles GM is doing doing cartwheels around you Wanna know a secret? When the eagles had receivers that kept dropping passes, they went out and got better ones....but what do they know, they're only in the super bowl......happy Feb. 4th.

Didn’t agholor lead the league in drops his first year? I know he graded out as the literal worst receiver in football. Now he’s an integral part of the offense. Julio, Amari, Kelce, jimmy graham, Devante Adams, Adam thielen etc etc right there with dez in drops. Doesn’t absolve him but it happens

Dez isn't going anywhere. Who is going to replace him? Fix the o-line. Leary leaving town along with Tyron being injured was a HUGE void to fill and we flat out didn't. People want to hold on to the fact that we have a great o-line, we weren't even close to the best o=line in the NFL last season.

I don't recall anybody ever double-covering Crayton. He was a better returner, but never had a season as good as Cole's last season.

..Jerry says, "No biggie, Dez is still the All Pro, All Conference, All World receiver he intends to be". So rumor has it, Jerry and Dez are working on a HIp Hop, Be Bop remake of the Beatsie Boys..Triple Trouble.. ;)..

Once again, Garrett is not the GM of this team. He has a say, I’m sure, but he is not the decision maker. Garrett lobbied for us to draft Zeke so obviously he has a say.

There is nothing wrong with the general manager stating he expects a player that is under contract to be with the team next season. Jerry oversteps his boundaries a lot but this is not a case of that.

Most coaches don’t have much say in those decisions. That’s the GM job. The coach coaches the players he has

It’s easier to double cover Beasley because he is one dimensional. Everyone knows he’s gonna run that 6 yard out route on 3rd and 4.

Maybe Bease isn’t as one dimensional as the team makes him be. I’m just saying that Crayton was a more versatile player. He could catch balls down field and be a consistent 3rd down option.

He's a huge distraction who isn't worth the money. You absolutely cut him.

The money is too high I agree. So is Julio Jones and a list of other WR making insane money. I’m seeing if I can get Dez to take a pay cut but I’m more focused on cutting guys who have never done anything for us. Again, Crawford
