I'm confused. So after we go 3-13, we can afford to "waste" draft picks on guys who won't be able to play for a year or two, but after we go 13-3, we can't afford to?

If we had picked Deoin Jones instead of Jaylon we would have been playing the SB,it was that big of a mistake.you can ask why we dont win playoff games anymore and you can point most of it to Jerry's Hubris.we picked a slow as Molasses Escobar instead of Kelce too.

If you were for the philosophy behind drafting Jaylon Smith last year nothing should change this year. Either it's the right approach or it's not. Your current roster needs are irrelevant. You're acquiring talent in the draft.

We just lost four starters on defense (Carr, Mo, McClain, Church) and two more regular subs (Crawford and Wilcox) added to the fact we won't have Randy Gregory for the regular season. That's not the same context we went into the 2016 season with.

Circumstances change and so should approaches to the draft accordingly.

This probably eliminates Sidney Jones from consideration but not necessarily McKinley, Moreau, or Butt assuming these players are expected to be ready by early in the regular season.

I don't want them to draft any player that is claimed to be ready by the start of TC.....drafted players as well as our own players that they make this statement about, NEVER works out. At best they go on PUP and most do not come, off of it.

If they were to draft an injured player, he better be ready by the end of May.

I surely hope they don't draft any more players that are hurt and cant play right away they need all the help on defense they can get
