to put him in the same sentence as brady is insulting and show's his al davis mental state, dak is a good qb but to compare him to brady is an insult. dak has been in the league 7 years and he's no better than jones out of new york as a matter of fact jalen in philly is better then dak. dumb and dumber really have no answer to the public except same old idiot statements

Yes, he can mature like Brady but in relation to age, since he can also reach Brady's age, from there he is light years away from looking even a little bit like Brady because he would have to start with the salary. I think this gentleman's brain no longer works.
First Mike's comment against Moore, now this man saying inconsistencies, wow, the future looks very promising in the Cowboys,

I see two ways to read this:

1. Jerry has spent his entire career hyping the team and the results have worked spectacularly for him. Dallas is one of the most valuable organizations in sports despite not being in a massive market or winning a title for 27 years or so. All of this uber positive stuff is just aimed at trying to keep up demand for tickets and merchandise among casual fans. He doesn't believe this necessarily but is just being a hype man. Hardcore fans are tired of this bunk but Jerry knows the hardcore guys are a small slice of the fanbase and aren't going anywhere anyways. Overall, irritating but not the end of the world.

2. Jerry actually believes this, has no concept of how other teams function and has no read on how good Dallas players are versus their peers. This is bad for Cowboy fans.

I used to think that Jerry was a mediocre talent evaluator and supreme hype man. I'm starting to think he is losing it. Some of his comments this offseason have been detached from reality (like Philly being "all in"). Being a hype man is walking a thin line. You want to push it as far as you can without looking like a bumbling fool yelling on a corner and I think Jerry is starting to cross than line.

Side note: Tom Brady had his best year at age 30 and had won 3 super bowls. After that it was a plateau/long slide down albeit from a very high level. Him getting significantly better after Dak's age isn't what happened.

@MountaineerCowboy as I’ve been saying for years. The problem isn’t on the field. It’s above it.
I'm cool with it at this point.

Jerry deserves the failure Dak will bring.

I have gone past accepting that to almost taking joy in it knowing how badly Jerry wants to look like he knows what he's doing but will only fail in doing so.
