I said Jason Garrett would never win a super bowl and some emmitt staubach guy got all bent out of shape over it. LOL looks like I won.

Doubtful I’d get too “bent out of shape” over it, but congrats on your “victory”! I imagine it’s enriched the lives of many. Was the awards banquet fun? Has the additional fame and fortune of a fortuitous football guess helped your feelings of self worth? What’s it like to just KNOW you’re right about everything?

The Cowboys are now the USA in the World Cup. Good enough to be there, but not a chance in the world to win it.

Another generation about to be lost.

The next Cowboys team with a real chance to play in a Super Bowl is still in diapers.

Tom Brady was a SB MVP in his 2nd season. When did he ever need to mature?

Dak has played 7 seasons. By that time Brady had been to 4 Super Bowls, win ING three along with 2 Sb MVP awards.

How long should it take to "mature"?

What does that even mean, "mature" like Brady?

By his 5th year, Brady had already "matured" and was an elite QB with the ability to take his team to a SB. He had 3 SB wins in his first 5 years.

Dak is entering year 8. He is what he is. Jerry is just trying to sell this idea that Dak is still great and can be elite but any comparison to Brady's trajectory, even in terms of "maturity" is just laughable. But Jerry is constantly in PR mode. He does this every offseason after his initial disappointment in our early playoff exits each year. He then comes back a month later and starts talking about how good we are, how great we can be, etc.
