Jerry: We'll do some dramatic things

"Keep coming back, attend the games, buy the merch, keeping fanning the way you do, we're doing big and dramatic things here to get better. Just you wait."

Once this thread reaches its 4-hours old point, I hope Rockport and rambo call their doctors from being excited for that length of time because it's not healthy beyond that point, lol.

Hey-yo!

I'm honestly hoping Jerry is fully prepared to live up to what he's saying. It remains to be seen if and when such promises are actually being readied for revealing their proof. It'd be great if the results come close to how it's being presented to us as fans. In the meantime, be alert and be prepared for whatever the facts eventually reveal. At this point, hearing vague promises surely isn't enough for satisfaction.

Umm that’s a quality looking dumpster. We normally start with trash bags being blown by the wind. Check that, injured trash bags being blown by the wind.

Would be nice to see a reporter just one time asking Jerry if he was only the owner and not the GM, would he have fired the GM after 2 straight seasons of not making the playoffs?

jerry is the ultimate business man and sales man. he is selling. he hears the fanbase unhappiness, he hears it on the radio and thus he is selling hope. we are going to do XYZ in off season. and then he signs an average player, or few and says, we fell good. they are this. they are that. he will use cap excuse and so on and rile up the fanbase around Dak,, CD and Pickens cap hits. he will probably sign a big name or semi-big name to say, I told you so.

he will sell, sell sell. he will tout the changes made at coaching, tout the turnover in personnel, really sell the draft....and go into next season, having sold hope for the 31st time....and he crosses his fingers hoping the defense is not an all time worst type (probably won't be) and at the end of next season will tell people, we knew it was a multi year project and some things didn't work out as planned.

and year 31 of futility continues. am I already given up? no. I am 1% confident.

There's a man who knows his days are numbered

So the 30 prior years you were avoiding being dramatic…but NOW…in year 31, it’s time to get serious??!

I honestly don’t know how a GM with this level of consistent mediocrity and playoff failure could not be embarrassed. But he is shameless.

Jerry just wanted to build up some drama before making a big move. Just ask him, he'll tell you.

“Bust the budget”

So more bargaining bin shopping and vet min contracts?

Dramatic for most of us would be three or four high-quality free agent signings. Dramatic for Jerry is trading for first-round busts.
