It does seriously feel this way. Completely tempering my expectations has become part of the norm. Sure, I have my moments of fandom, but they quickly get squandered every time I put faith in this team. It sucks. I hate it. We're all stuck on this rollercoaster ride that keeps doing the same loop over and over again. We want the tracks to change so we can experience a different section of the ride. The part that rides by a trophy case looks cool. What's that like?

If they stink it up and lose to Washington I expect the wheels to come off completely. 0-4 is almost certain.

While I expect a resounding rebound victory to the Commodores if for no other reason than just a gut feeling, I do expect a return to Giants game normalcy against the Ravens and Texans.

However IF as you say, they do lose to the Commodores, then I totally agree with you.
