Jerry: We're not at the level we thought we would be

This is why I watch super casually. It's just not going anywhere. No matter what.
It does seriously feel this way. Completely tempering my expectations has become part of the norm. Sure, I have my moments of fandom, but they quickly get squandered every time I put faith in this team. It sucks. I hate it. I don't want to be here, but we're stuck with an arrogant fool and his golden-child son who thinks 30 years is an air-quotes “drought” to us fans.

We're all stuck on this rollercoaster ride that keeps doing the same loop over and over again. We want the tracks to change so we can experience a different section of the ride. The part that rides by a trophy case looks cool. What's that like?

This statement Jerry made ages well lol. We can literally post this exact statement almost each year for the last 3 decades. With some exception. The one constant is JERRY AND STEPHEN.

IF your current edges still can not figure out how to get home and your linebacker/secondary coverage make Isaiah Likely look like a 1st team All Pro, there are some serious issues.

Oh...did I forget to mention the most important deficiency in the carryover of lack of run game defense from last year?

You might really want to re-think these BS scapegoat reasons of pre-season participation, scheme and coordinator again.

However, there is a legitimate personnel issue.
AGAIN.

It is what it is.

If they stink it up and lose to Washington I expect the wheels to come off completely. 0-4 is almost certain.
While I expect a resounding rebound victory to the Commodores if for no other reason than just a gut feeling, I do expect a return to Giants game normalcy against the Ravens and Texans.
I'm calling 1-3.

However IF as you say, they do lose to the Commodores, then I totally agree with you.
Total 0-4 team implosion.
