I'm going to give the Cowboys a break. They would have been bashed constantly if they did nothing. This way they still respected the anthem and the flag. It was about the best they could have done.
Never looked at it like that. You're absolutely right. I'm just glad they won. Couldn't handle yet another loss here in Egals country. Hope those Chargirls get their first win against them on Sunday.

if you truly believe blacks are treated with the same respect as whites, you are apart of the problem

Twerking in the endzone was a penalty this weekend as was OBJ lifting his leg like a dog to pee...Those are 1st amendment rights too...

Jerry came up with the perfect solution IMO...

Not a good example. Those are against rules. The protests are not.

Exactly. IMO any bs outside of football while in uniform should have been an automatic fine and or possible suspension for conduct detrimental to the game. I want to watch a game, not some bs political protest from a bunch of whiney a ss athletes.

Fake outrage at its finest lol. You will still be a Cowboy fan and the NFL and Jerry will continue to accept your money.

Why do people keep saying this?

While ratings, at least last year, wasn't completely on the protest issue - it did have a bit of an impact. It's even more national news, and the Trump fanbase is fuming over this. I certainly believe people are going to tune out now.

This isn't similar to people being made because their team got penalized. This has entered political territory, people will be tuning out.

There are a bunch of people protesting around the country. Some are protesting because Kapernick doesn't have a job as well. The NFL has managed to P off a lot of people......but I think most of all.....no one cares about anyone protesting the NFL because people are kneeling for the flag. Either you will watch or you won't. The NFL is arrogant about their product and confident in it.

There are some people who are like that. Simply miserable people. You tune in to watch football.....6 years ago they didn't even air the national anthem......if it truly bothers you don't tune in or tune in 5 minutes after start time. Its very simple. I don't get it.

I posted the pic and story with a caption that said "BEFORE" and "AFTER" the anthem on FB and these same people who were outraged didn't even bother to read the caption and just went off until I had to point it out yet again. Only to get well "I didn't even bother to read it". Okay so shouldn't you read to know if you should be outraged? Silence... Turned into well I don't know why these news casters go all in blah Tru... Blah Blah.. Tru..blah mp... Blah blah blah...

My response? Why do you care? Just don't watch the news simple. Watch some investigative journalism or something else.

It boggles my mind

you are dead to me and I protected you through the Landry debacle. You just screwed over the fans.
If it really bothers you that much, why not just ignore the games? Why make a thread about it and call attention to yourself? Whatever is really bothering you has to be much deeper than a team/owner showing what you thought was disrespect. You may want to seek some professional help to find the underlying problem. I hope you're ok bud.

You realize Jerry is on the front page kneeling on the Drudge Report. How embarrassing.

Short lived.

News of the day on Drudge is that you can't round up enough horrible people to screw millions out of health care.

So no worries about how the protests play!

Oh cool, I guess i can wear a shirt with Hitler on it...

I mean, he just executed 6 million people, banned homosexuality and porn. similar to Castro. But Hitler also pulled Germany out of an economic hole and turned it into one of the greatest empires in about 4-5 years. All the while he was an underdog in a new political party. Oh and he was aware of environmental/animal issues...

We just gotta ignore the genocide though.

cats are a total trip:lmao2:
LOL, they sure are melon. I have one left. Had two, my little girl (calico) I had to put down a few months ago. She was 19. I would put catnip down for the two of them and you'd think WWIII had started. Was hilarious to watch them attacking each other. Have a great day my friend!
