LOL, they sure are melon. I have one left. Had two, my little girl (calico) I had to put down a few months ago. She was 19. I would put catnip down for the two of them and you'd think WWIII had started. Was hilarious to watch them attacking each other. Have a great day my friend!

Wish they all would have saluted and ran down the field with the American flag like jj watt did

While chanting USA USA USA USA with tears in their eyes.

Man...now that would have been do something to watch.

This is the exact quote from Kapernick. "I'm not going to show pride in a flag for country that oppresses black people and people of color".

Pretty clear what he is saying. "He is not showing pride for the flag". Beyond that, I don't care what his protest is about. It could be about martians. Get it off the field and out of the game. It's no different than hollywood actors. I don't give a crap about their political views. Just make a movie and I will pay to watch or I won't.

The fact is that he has used the flag for his personal protest. Honestly, I don't care what he has to say. It's irrelevant. Kapernick and all players who followed him are the same. It's not his field, his stadium, his platform to express his feelings using the flag in protest.

Why would you ever attempt to put words in my mouth? I'm a 20 yr combat veteran that proudly salutes "Ole Glory" every chance I get. Kaepernick was rejected by his parents at birth and adopted by a white family. He was given everything a growing boy could ever want including a college education. How does he show his appreciation? Hell no I don't support that SOB.

The whole kneeling thing was dying down, only a handful of players were doing it, until Trump called them SOBs and said they should be fired for doing so.

He likes to divide people and he certainly did here, I hope people who support him realize he is playing them like a fiddle. He is making them give up football for a mess he created out of thin air for crying out loud.

I’m from Mexico so I have no dog in this fight I and I love the US and what it stands for but I’m worried because I’ve never seen it so divided.

I can't stand him because of what he is doing to your country, as I said before I have no dog in this fight, I think Reagan and Obama were awesome, liked Bush 1 and Clinton and in retrospect I even miss W, but this guy, I don't know, lets just say your great country deserves better.

I don't see him doing anything to this country, it was already divided. People care too much about what he says, I don't understand it. I love it when he gets on twitter and just says anything. It's just words. So what if he has an unpopular opinion, he can't fire players for kneeling. He didn't even call the players SOBs. He said he wanted to here an owner say "get that SOB of the field". That's not the same thing. It's funny how people overreact to his comments.

Did he fire the coach you wanted (jimmy)?
Did he hire coaches you didn't want (campo, wade etc)?
Did he make stupid personnel decisions for 2 decades thinking he was a football guy and caused the team to languish in mediocrity?

Yet you supported him through those times as a fan when those things are FAR more important to any fan of any team because they relate to team performance

But now you will stop supporting him because of something that has NO impact on team performance and in fact brings players closer to work as a unit?

Please don't pretend like this is about the team
We can all see what it's about (just can't state it here)

    Bye

I can give Hollywood actors some credit...it's not like I'm going to watch a movie and Christian Bale is going to open up with expressing his political views to me. Or if it's a political movie it usually is portrayed that way in the trailer and promotion for that movie so I know exactly what I'm going to watch.

Usually when I hear actors and actresses expressing political views it's either thru social media or thru some type of media where politics is is being discussed.

The Country has been deeply divided for some time

It started with the Clinton Impeachment
Then it was Bush-Gore and the hanging chads
Then the Iraqi and Afghani Wars
    Then Obama/Hillary vs McCain
    Then Obamacare
Then the rise of the Tea Party
    Then Trump
