You belong with Jerry, making football decisions based on your feelings.

Really? So its logic that tells you if Garrett should be fired after a snake bit season that ends 8-8, you replace him with a coach that couldn't even do his coaching job well?

Garrett has a winning record over 10 years, but you want to replace a guy with zero experience or Rod Marinelli and his career 10-38 record as a head coach? What is the logic in that?

He gave them the best chance to win? lol some actually still believed that. Instead he padded that win percentage with another solid outing in garbage time. The usual. Another Garrett staple.

So you keep doing what doesn't work because you're afraid of the unknown? That's a recipe for continued mediocrity. I thought teams played to reach and win championships, not have a "winning" record in the regular season and suck in the playoffs each and every time you make it there.

Meh. It would not have mattered one way or the other. The only way to kill off a nest of vampires is to take out the head vampire. Driving a stake through Jason Garrett would not matter unless you also took out the head vampire Count Jerry, Who seems to have some of that immortal vampire power.

It’s obvious the team stop responding to Garrett. I don’t know what the coaching infighting was about but you pick one.... anyone, Richards, Marinelli, Moore,.... I don’t care to send the message that what’s going on won’t be tolerated. Firing Garrett and least puts everyone on notice that nobody is safe. Hopefully when Jerry said after the game that he is partly to blame and change is coming, he realized that handed over the bank to guys like Lawrence who refused to get the surgery unleaded he was signed, and allowing Zeke to hold out with TWO years left on his contract was part of the problem. Part of letting the inmates run the asylum and the stinky culture that has become the Dallas Cowboys. It’s like parading your kids for being spoiled brats.

Cowboys had two guys who demanded to get paid.

Two guys hoping to get paid.

And a coach hoping to get a new contract.

I think Jerry looked at the situation and thought that we could win the East pretty much by default and if we won the East that would be enough cover for him to keep Garrett. He knew the Eagles had massive injuries and they had to run the table going 4-0 to take the East.

Jerry gambled that the Eagles would drop at least 1 game, thus giving us the division. They didnt, they went 4-0 including a win over us pretty much having to play their practice squad guys as starters. Jerry didnt think that could happen, even with how bad Garrett is.

So Jerry rolled the dice and they came up snake eyes...….now Jerry is forced to do the last thing in the world he wants to do, fire Garrett.
