Exactly.

This is why I say when people keep complaining over and over, year after year...

Why continue being miserable and making those around you miserable? Go follow another team and be happy for once in 30 years. Help stop the misery because Jerry is not going to change.
Piss off and go find another team yourself ....... damn yes man Jerry Guzzler.

And that my friends is why nothing the Cowboys do with the coaching staff, front office, roster, etc. matters. The man who controls everything will find a way to screw it up, just like he has for the past 29 years now.

Here's the thing.

Even IF Jerry hired a GM it wouldn't matter.

He would still control all aspects of everything and not let the GM do their job.

There will never be a GM other than Jerry regardless if he holds the title or someone else does.
Here’s the Other Thing,

It’s not even the roster building that’s the biggest problem. He has had decent enough advice over the years that he has listened to, to put together some pretty competitive rosters. That along with some pretty good luck. Un-drafted Pro Bowl QB’s are pretty rare.

Its the culture of entitlement that has permeated this organization for years that is it’s biggest downfall.
Allowing players to circumvent the coaches to come to Jerry with their grievances.
An atmosphere of stardom without actually accomplishing anything.
Players knowing that if they play just good enough, the owner will pay them top dollar:
Zero accountability for players for colossal collapses in big games.

It’s a stench of arrogance that has engulfed this organization because of Jerry’s ego that won’t be cleansed until Jerry is gone.

Jerry has somehow gotten worse. Every time he speaks he says something annoying. He can’t check himself anymore. He also has lost any shred of credibility. It has become comical.

It still amazes me how some fans are still struggling with Jethro’s agenda. It’s never been about the Dallas Cowboys. Just him.

He tried allowing someone else to make all of the football decisions and becoming the face of his franchise . But even after winning back to back championships wasn’t happy not being the man.

This is what I respect of our owner. He’s actually pretty honest about his intentions. Too bad everyone doesn’t hear him.

But that’s not what local and longtime Diehard fans usually do. The casual, fringe and wagon fans walk away or simply become disinterested or engaged when times are tough. And that’s fine. I don’t have any problem with fans conducting themselves however they choose within the law or rules.

I’ve often used attending a game and the sharp contrast there is in how fans conduct themselves expressing their fandom as a great example. Many fans we’d much rather not be sitting or near us. But they have the right to conduct and express themselves within the law and or rules much like on this site.

It’s up to us to look the other way or ignore best we can so it doesn’t ruin our experience or limit how we express ourselves.

Some people or fans choose to totally disengage and others choose to scream from the rooftop even if it falls on deaf ears. Voicing their concerns and grievances helps them cope with their frustrations and disappointments .
