He doesn't want to win, necessarily. He just wants to do it his way. Win or lose, he is happy if he has done it his way.

Jerry cares about winning you can see it on his face during wins and losses. Any fan who thinks he doesn’t care about winning is an idiot. It is possibly he cares more about making money than winning but he wants to win, he just won’t allow anyone who knows how to win to run the team. Jerry continues to try and win a championship his way. It hasn’t come close to working and it likely never will.

Jerry has more money than his great-grandchildren could ever spend. Stop looking for rationalizations, as in he only cares about money. He's got crazy money.

Jerry wants the one thing he cannot buy - a Super Bowl where no one can say it was Jimmy's team. The problem is football incompetence by him and his son.

Just shed some alligator tears at the end of every season and fans will buy it hook, line & sinker! I’m surprised he don’t use eye drops to really sell it..

Whether Jerry really wants to win a Super Bowl or not, he isn't committed to doing what it takes to get it. That's the problem in a nutshell. He's more concerned with having the most valuable franchise, from the look of things. Both he and Stephen won't spend enough for it. Managing without spending whatever's needed for better players in veteran FA won't quite get the job done.
