Thing is not one person will speak out against the NFL. It's a touchy situation becasie of the DV issues, but that should not keep people from their opinions that there was collusion from the NFL on this.

Of course they're in shock. They looked at the evidence too. They probably noticed that there was disagreement from medical professionals on the timeline of the bruises. Combined with those pictures being provided by a proven liar would make anyone question their provenance. Unless they're a conclusion seeking an investigation to cover for them completely screwing up the Rice and Brown investigations.

I'm not. The lawyers are studying the ruling, reviewing past court rulings, and weighing their options. We will know soon if they plan to fight past the appeals process.

There's nothing to be gained by talking at this point. I suspect they are in contact with Elliott's reps, the NFLPA and their own attorneys.

There is nothing to be gained by speaking out and calling out Goodell until they have their ducks in a row.

I'm not putting it past Jerry to be exploring his options as well. Not sure what they may be but if his players are being treated differently than players on other teams, then I'd think some lawyer could find an angle to exploit. May not be likely but I'm not going to be surprised by anything coming out of this situation.

When you are a professional, and your initial reaction is to say mean and nasty things, I always find it 100 percent better to sleep on it and respond the next day. Very likely they are just measuring their words to be more fitting of what they want to say.
