When you are a professional, and your initial reaction is to say mean and nasty things, I always find it 100 percent better to sleep on it and respond the next day. Very likely they are just measuring their words to be more fitting of what they want to say.

Sounds like the opposite of my work lol. It is typically best to let it simmer and speak from a clear mind.

I think Jerry knew of this upcoming suspension weeks ago..

Jerry didn't argue the MIles Austin 10 million fine

Yeah well if Schefter is reporting it you would think Jerry had a fair idea, maybe not the extent or maybe he hoped they'd change course.

I think Jerry is playing it smart and giving it a good night's rest before he stands up at the podium and speaks out of pure emotion fueled by massive amounts of rage.

And massive amounts of Johnnie Walker? :D

Wonder if Goodell was invited.

Maybe Jerry could tell him he was invited "in the spirit" of invitations, hence not a real one.

erod-- I hope they are....man i will be pissed if they say one thing ( Jerry is so infuriated ) but choose not to do anything
Not really sure what he can do, unless he wants to turn this into a racial equivalency issue and start naming examples that support a stance.

He could turn half the NFL's fan base into BLM movement, or start digging up dirt on Goodell, Mara, and the committee.

Legally, he has no real grounds to do anything.

erod---the fact that the NFLPA gave him power with such broad language to what constitutes bad behavior must be addressed....

Yep, in the next CBA. Meanwhile.....

And the problem that the NFLPA has is that careers in the NFL are so short, the current players don't want to make the sacrifice of their earning potential for players down the road.

About 40 percent of every roster is quite replaceable, and the players no this. They have to get theirs while they can.

Maybe some Internet investigators can start digging up dirt on Goodell, Mara, and the gang. What's in your closet Goodell? This is war.

Jerry is known for the big media party he hosts for them every year at training camp. That party is scheduled for tonight.

Will Jerry go?

So far, neither he, Stephen, nor Garrett have spoken since today's ruling. No statement had been released. The practice was closed to the media.

The vultures await Jerry. Are you going to your party?
Nothing gets between Jerry and a microphone or camera. You would have more luck keeping Oprah away from the dinner table.
