Hahahaha. 100%. He’s not an idiot. He’s a con man. Amongst the greatest in the world. Winning is not a priority - that is the problem. For us.
Exactly. When people dont understand this, they become part of the problem

OP’s post doesn’t make any sense because THIS season is embarrassing Jerry just as much, if not more, than the GB playoff game.

Again, it’s always best to assume stupidity over a coordinated plan when stupidity, on its own, adequately explains what we are seeing.

You can tell he's not even upset. He planned this all. He doesn't care.
I agree 100%.......
It's almost as if it is calculated and he's willing to take his lumps this season coz he knows fans will see the big picture next season. This is why I also think he already knows who his next head coach will be and honestly, MM probably knows also. He has an agent and they are not stupid.

Jerry is just senile. There is no other way to describe him at this point.
They really need to overcome him, and get him out of his power.

I do not know if Stephen will be any different with his cheap thoughts against FA, in the long run. But at this point he would have to be better.
The Jones family needs to intervene.

Its not embarrassing Jerry though.

He is speaking to the media more than ever, people are talking about the Cowboys more than usual. He is winning. Trust me. He isn't embarrassed at all.

He sure seems irritable and uncomfortable when talking with the media, especially with that “all-in” comment he made during the off season hanging over his head. He looks incredibly stupid right now and he knows it imo.

I firmly believe that the GB game upset Jerry to no end. I feel like he was so angry that he made a decision that he was going to do nothing in this off-season. He was going to keep all the current coaches, keep everything status quo, and make the players and coaches pay for embarrassing him. You can see it in his interviews taking no accountability, allowing players to throw coaches under the bus, and simply just sitting back and watching this dumpster fire happen.

You can tell he's not even upset. He planned this all. He doesn't care. He literally threw a tantrum like a toddler and we are watching the result of that.
Nah fam, Jerry was crying to the just the other game.. he was very upset ;)

that's just not the truth. we never spend in FA anyway. we are always signing people in the 3rd and 4th wave.
this was all money moves. minimizing his cash output, knowing he has to hand out two large contracts. before Dak and CD we were 30+ in cash spending. we are 29th in dead cap (keep players to the end of their contracts) and Jerry even said, he has to worry about Coaches dead money.

jerry is not vindictive. he is money driven. every move was a money move. if he really was upset about GB game, he would let all of them go.

and if he is vindictive like you said, then Jerry is stupid.

From the perspective of how valuable he has made his franchise, yes it does
This is why and they’re on record (him and Stephen) seasons like this one piss him off and embarrass him to no end. It hits him where it matters. Ratings will go down, concession sales will go down, attendance will go down, interest will go down, people will start booing the team, booing him personally , ripping him on national media, etc. we’ve seen this story before when Romo went down for the season and it pissed him off. This is how we (as fans) win - its the only way.

During the game, and I could be wrong, but when the camera panned up to where Jerry and his cheap son sit, Jerry was nowhere to be found, just Steven and one or two other family clowns, but no Jerry.

That is what Jerry has turned into.

Sorry to break it to you.
Go look at the revenue this team pulls in for him and tell me that.

Its been said to you a thousand times and you dont want to listen. Jones doesnt care if this team is good or not. He cares about how much it takes in. You guys think he is an idiot because you want him to be something he is. He is not. The more you think he is an idiot, the more he has you in a string

You are giving him too much credit. This front office is just extremely inept and years of bad drafts, ignoring free agency, retaining bad players with big contracts is all coming home to roost.

Your theory assumes Jerry knows what he is doing and can purposely sabotage it. Nope, he's just a moron to the highest degree. The only success he had as an owner was under Jimmy's direction and guidance. He knew this and his ego couldn't handle it so he fired him. Sure, he won a ring with Switzer but the whole team was Jimmy's blueprint. Once free agency came into play and Jerry making all the GM moves, it's been almost 30 years of mediocrity.
