Nothing about what Holley said changes my opinion about this move:
Blue is a backup RB...with potential to never start. Joe M. has starting potential.
If he is lacking professionalism and other soft skills - but performing awesome on the field - you don't expose that player! Especially since you gave up a 5th rounder to get him. If he is so unprofessional as to be a cancer or malcontent - ala Jeff George - then maybe you do it...but better damn sure know what you're doing.
For example, we all know GP was late for meetings and even half-assed a few games last year. Did anyone cut him? Yeah Pittsburgh wanted to but thought better. The most he got was a 1st drive benching. Obviously Milton is not GP, but the point stands...you don't expose a talented player unless he is EXTRAORDINARILY unprofessional.
I'm calling BS on all this...and that don't stand for Brian Schottenheimmer.
