if not acceptable, what are your options to fix this, then? as fans we're pretty limited in how we can effect the game so something being "not acceptable" - other than complain, what can you do?

Fans cannot do anything because we're not the QB. Romo, on the other hand can practice. As someone pointed out, Glenn hasn't had that much time with Romo because he's been hurt all season. You cannot establishing a rhythm with your WR sitting in Mexico.

I agree with you. But other than playing hide the sausage, how much looking and finding do you really think Romo was doing down in Mexico with Jessica? (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) :

Look, I hope Romo proves all of us naysayers wrong. I want to win. Period. If hanging out with Jessica can help make that happen...fine. If he plays a stellar game, I'll pay for his vacation next time (only if I can go too).

I'm just worried. Just as hindsight can be 20/20 so can foresight. Seeing my star QB shortly before playing the game of the season drinking and lounging with a chick who doesn't exactly have the most mature outlook on life makes me nervous. Now if Romo was chillin' in Tibet with the Dalai Lama, you wouldn't hear a peep out of me--assuming he took Glenn with him to practice with.

Can Sunday just get here already! All my highly opinionated speculating is giving me a headache.

and i hate to break it to you - but they're not gonna get better in 2 days when terry glenn may likely have had something to go do also. it's not like glenn was sitting at the playground all unhappy romo couldn't show.

Dallas Cowboys’ fans can breathe easy - Jessica Simpson is giving their vital Play Off game this weekend a miss.

The Texas songbird came under a barrage of criticism after she watched the team lose badly to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this season.

Her current boyfriend, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, had his worst game for the team as Simpson sat in the stands.

But her representatives have calmed fears that the singer would again jinx the high-flying Cowboys against the New York Giants.

“She is not attending. She’s working on a new album,” her publicist Cindy Berger said. “She will not be there, but she’ll be watching on TV and cheering Romo on.”

Noted. But as QB and responsible player, I would think Romo would have taken it upon himself to suggest more practice time with Glenn.

It seems I am in the minority who thinks Romo's playing of late hasn't been shooting off rockets. Thus, we are operating from two different premises and will not likely have a meeting of the minds. Based on what I've seen, Romo needs all the practice time and film viewing he can get--and then some. Based on what you've seen, Romo is fine and his partying in Mexico doesn't bother you.

At this point, what's done is done. He's back now. Only the agonizing wait remains to see how he plays.
