Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports the New York Jets may try and trade CB Andre Dyson to another team for a veteran guard.

He hasn't practiced at guard very much this offseason, if at all. I don't recall reading any reports with him at guard, even though it was talked about very early in the offseason. It's pretty difficult to just make that switch when you haven't played guard for over a year.

I think we all need to give reeves and jones a shot this week and see what happens.

After all this is a team being led by an undrafted rookie. Lets just see how they play before we overreact and give up too much.

Besides, isnt dyson ailing a little, I thought I read he had an injury of some kind.

Revis was drafted by the Jets (with their 14th pick) while we had to wait until the 22nd pick which we ended up trading to Cleveland.

i'd like to see this happen somehow. kosier? could be a bit steep but that depends on how our draft picks do.

i'm an OL freak but not as much since we have mobility back there vs liberty (statues). if they'd take kosier i'd think about it. trouble is that puts *us* thin at OG and what's the point of trading one problem for another to end up the same overall?

i'd offer them next years 5th for dyson. if no one else offers more maybe they'd take it.

I think a 5th is too high. JMO. I dont think you can give away that valuable a pick right now.

I am not sure just playing this week and seeing how reeves does is not so bad. Dyson and reeves are the same size and weight and reeves has more speed.

Reeves has been waiting for an opportunity to play and he is going to get it now. IF he struggles then we may have to overpay for a guy like dyson, but I am not so sure about that yet and I would never give a 5th round pick for him. Not now.

Although he's a decent starter, I wouldn't give him up. We finally seem to have a solid O-Line in place. IF we're to win this year, Romo must have the best o-line we can possibly field, which, at the moment, includes Kosier.....
