LoL I knew an old Canadian machinist once before he'd "gone Country" who during W.W II , told me he'd take every advanced training course the Canadian Army had to offer in Country, to explicitly avoid getting deployed overseas,, finally, he said " they caught onto my ploy" & refused another transfer, He said he was like " Oh, ****! I'm going in all Blackface Commando Now",,,it was HILARIOUS to of heard him tell it

It's amazing to me how many of you want Richard to be the head coach when you criticized Garrett for getting the job with no head coaching experience. Many of you called him the trainee over and over again.

The shoe fit with Garrett. I don't think many here believe Richard will be similar to Garrett with a built in need for "on the job training."

Its really irritating to me that a guy like Richard can have several great years at Seattle and within ONE SEASON teams are looking to poach him from us. Screw you Jets.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the next Defensive Coordinator for sure. I think the defense hasn't gotten all they can out of Marinelli. The defense peaked earlier in the season, now teams come prepared to move the ball on the Cowboys....and as always, we've made no adjustments. If Plan A doesn't work, this team seems to get run over....and reverts back to Bend But Don't Break. "Ahhh, let's just hold them to a FG" F that! Impose your will!

That's what makes the Ravens defense so good, they dictate what the offense will do....they confuse the QB and the WRs with deception and tenacity. The Cowboys need an in flux of some of that.

Aside from Belechek and and maybe Carrol, I don't see a lot of esteemed HC's with HOF credentials. Its a strange era. Maybe McVay and Pederson carry the torch of the next generation of HC's. You look back at the 70's with Knoll, Shula, Landry, Corryel, Madden....Bud Grant. Then 80's: Walsh, Parcell, Gibbs, and Ditka took the torch. The 90's saw . Jimmy Johnson, Seifert, Marv Levy, and Holmgren take over.......... Then Belechek, Dungy, Cowher, and Coughlin took the torch. This decade, I got Belechek and Pete Carrol. Looking ahead, I have no idea.
