This probably sets the standard for moving into the top 5. Wonder if the Giants end up moving down with a Buffalo or Miami or Denver. Going to see this week if Denver is happy with Case Keenam or not. Colts still in position to get Nelson or Fitzpatrick or Edmunds.

How can you state that? If the Jets QB they pick turns out to be a franchise QB, it was a great trade for the Jets.

I am not a big believer that just because they took a shot at a QB makes it a great trade.

In any given draft, you might have one franchise QB. They traded up to number three. There is the distinct possibility they could get shut out of the QB they want, should the Browns and Giants both take QBs.

Unless they have no preference between Rosen, Darnold and/or Allen (which I find hard to believe), they are risking giving up their premium picks in this draft and their 2nd and may not even get their guy.

The right QB can transform the Jets. It's a steep price, but just ask the Eagles if it's worth it. (I wish the Cowboys had moved up a couple of spots from pick #4)

QB's were always going to go high in this draft. Teams at the top not needing one are listening to trade offers. There are a lot of stupid mock drafts around showing 1 QB in the top 4 picks. That's just dumb.

Then they are completely dumb if they give up all of that just to get one of three separate and distinct prospects, doesn't matter which.
