Jets workout Dan Bailey

Blah blah blah.
Bailey is a kicker.
Bailey was a great kicker.
Bailey was a very well paid kicker.
Bailey was a good kicker, then a good kicker, then a good kicker making great kicker money.

The Cowboys have a new kicker. The odds are he will never be as good as the “great” Bailey. Fans will recall Bailey’s great years whenever the new kid misses a kick.

Meh.....I could care less.
Yes, but how do you really feel about it.

Other than the Cowboys keeping the kicker they thought was better, I've not heard or read anything that Bailey or anyone else thought he was done. As kickers go Bailey has a lot of years left so why would you think anyone thought he was finished?
.
Bailey was the most consistent kicker in the league, so why cut him unless you think he can no longer be that consistent?

The kicker they kept has no record in NFL at all, he had a good PS thats it.
So unless Bailey has lingering injury issues it was not smart to go with maher.

Maher is cheaper, and we will find out how good he is this season.
Could be it was a good move.

Some of these guys just don't get the hint. He should of retired as a Cowboy and ride off into the sunset. Instead he's going to continue so his bank account won't miss a beat.
Well he has to please the team he signs with to be good kicker or he wont be there long.

Didn't they do the same thing with Nick Folk when we released him?

Adam Vinatiera, Matt Bryant, Stephen Gostkowski, Robbie Gould, Phil Dawson, Matt Prater, Mason Crosby all say "Hi"

One slightly mediocre season....and the front office thinks he's trash. Will not shock me to see this guy play another 10 more seasons.

This move ranks right up there w/ some of the dumbest moves we have ever made....passing on Randy Moss, Signing Greg Hardy:rolleyes:

I will follow bailey with his new team and see how he does.

Justin Tucker is the best kicker in the league
