Jets workout Dan Bailey

He’s made a lot of money, and we won games with his help, so I don’t see the waste. A Super Bowl win would be great, but a person’s career isn’t wasted without it. I’m sure Marino and Witten don’t consider their careers wasted.

I think he meant tongue and cheek like...he's a former and good High School Coach.

One is in the HOF and another will be so there's that. But Bailey was wasted here...the same as so many other great players.

Why do you have to argue everything? Can't a guy have a little fun without being questioned? Lighten up.

Far and away most NFL players never win the Super Bowl and never get to the HOF. Was the career of every one wasted?

A wasted career is one where a quality player never gets a chance.

How many on this site won a state championship in high school? Of the few that played some college sport, how many won a national championship? Now, how many think their time playing sports as a kid was wasted?

Did you see him in Dallas on December 24th, 2017 in that warm AT&T stadium miss a 23rd yarder vs Seattle?! Again, weather has nothing to do with it.

I'm glad they released him. Once an injured hip, he'll never be the same. We can't be losing games because of a kicker who once was the best, is missing chip shots back to back only to lose games.

I recall Boniol being great, than he started missing. We released him, the Egals picked him up and he stunk it up for them. Out with the old and battered, in with the young and new.
then when Parcells was coach of the Giants, why did he make sure the opposing teams kicker was kicking into those swirling winds in Nov and Dec if weather has nothing to do with it:thumbup:....think it might have a lil summn' to do with it...especially there:thumbup:

Because we weren't talking about Parcells and opposing teams kicking. We were debating on Bailey's kicking. Besides, Bailey made those kicks as well IN swirling winds and very cold weather.

Again, Bailey's career stats being the most consistent kicker in the NFL for almost a decade proves weather had absolutely nothing to do with it. Im not going to keep debating this issue with you.

You're statement is incorrect. Not because I said so, but because of Bailey' stats proving over and over again he had no problem due to "weather". I don't debate on what I want to be true, I debate on what is true.

Bailey has issues....and that wind...in Ny...which is where he will play if he signs with them...will not help those issues.
everyone who has kicked there has said so.
if you dont want to debate with me....quit responding to my opinions.
