The back and groin issues were reportedly both factors in his problems last year. Both tend to be nagging injuries that linger. I haven't seen anything to indicate that it's been his back again this year. Since his groin injury came up toward the end of last year, I figured that was it. Have you seen anything lately to indicate that it's been his back now?

Have you seen anything lately indicating that it's his back now?

It has been mentioned a few times but not widely publicised.

It has been described as a "disc issue".

Those don't really get better without surgery.
