3 winning seasons and only 1 losing season. Why is it so hard for some folks to be honest while hating? Maybe it's because it makes it harder to justify the hate.

2 and 2 if were being honest

His qb rating was around 95 the 1st 8 games until Zeke went out and Tyron got hurt.

I wouldn't call that garbage at all.

Name another QB who is that dependent on their RB and left tackle. I'll bet he's not very good.

[Insert comment about how productive the offense has actually been on a points/series basis here; have it completely ignored again because it's inconvenient that reality doesn't match what we want to complain about.

Insert other comment about where the problems have actually been, have that agreed with and then, 'yeah, but the offense' discussion can start back up again.]

It was really an 8-8 though
I'll never consider that a 9-7 season. Playing your starters the whole game against Philly scrubs and winning 6-0. Clap. Clap. Clap. It was done for one reason, so Garrett can finally claim back to back winning seasons.

2011 8-8 Even
2012 8-8 Even
2013 8-8 Even
2014 12-4 Winning record
2015 4-12 Losing record
2016 13-3 Winning record
2017 9-7 Winning record

That's 3 winning seasons and only one losing season.

2017 wasnt a winning season. It wouldve been an 8-8 if the eagles didn't play their backups. Winning that game had the same importance as winning a preseason game.

I see how you are trying to be cute there but winning more games than you lose is a winning season.

The truth sucks huh. You can count a fake win if you want. I'm not.

Do you get the feeling the players respect Jason Garrett? I don't mean saying they respect him if they're asked in an interview, of course they'd say that, but really have the level of respect for him as they should their head coach?

I do not and that goes a long way as to why his teams don't respond to his coaching.

I get the feeling that the shroud is getting lifted on JGs inabilities, starting with current and former players along with other analysts starting to publicly criticize him. Historically, seemed like there was always something or someone drawing the ire but no one ever seemed to blame JG. Romo was the usual scapegoat but I think a lot of have seen that Romo was actually making JG look a lot better than he is. Everyone was constantly repeating “Oh he’s a great coach, he was coach of the year, he’s an Ivy League guy, he’s so smart, etc, etc.” But now, for seemingly the first time, seems like he’s finally fair game for public criticism by players and pundits. Our players will start buying it if they aren’t already thinking it.
However, one thing I think I think is that every time we’ve gone into a game where losing would really put JG on a hot seat, we turn out a good performance and win. Then, the second his seat cools a bit, we go back to looking sloppy, unprepared, and undisciplined. Like JG knows how to do just enough to keep his job and then goes back to being terrible. But he won’t do his job the rest of the year. So I fully expect us to play a good game on Sunday and probably win because if we don’t and esp if we look bad again the clamoring for JGs head will hit a level we’ve not yet seen, one that will make even JJ uncomfortable.
